So there's a lot of variables for racing transmissions. From a stock perspective, when we rebuild a transmission, we always do all the updates to them and stuff like that, and it's going to be a better unit than stock. But if you're going to a race application, then you're going to want to do some race frictions. They have specified race frictions with high energy material, like Red Eagle, like Raybestos PowerPaks. And then a heavy duty shift kit, not like your average run of the mill shift kit, typically will go into a race transmission, which bumps up pressures in the transmission very high, causes very hard shifts, and that's due to the high pressure. The other thing would be heavy duty internals as far as billet input shafts, billet drums, heavy duty sun shells, hardened steel pieces, stuff like that. So there's really three areas you're working on with a race build. You've got the friction material itself, which has to handle a lot more than a stock friction does. You've got the pressure and how hard and fast it shifts, which is what the heavy duty shift kit is doing. And then you've got the strength of the parts themselves, which is where the billet and the hardened pieces come in.
